Layla Ellison started dancing from a very early age, After years of training she then decided to join The Art Educational School, Training, for further dance education. From leaving there she was fortunate to gain experience very early on by dancing with the National Youth Dance Company and soon after joining Princess Cruises for a six-month contract.
After a successful start in this side of the dance industry Layla decided to turn her attention to more commercial work. She then danced for many artists such as Victoria Beckham, Snoop Dogg, Dannii and Kylie Minogue, Blue, Jamelia, Sugababes, Mis-teeq, Robbie Williams, Martine McCutcheon, Rachel Stevens, Charlotte Church, Girls Aloud & Liberty X.
With some of these artists she featured in their pop videos, performed all round the world & danced on many shows such as The Brit Awards, Smash Hit Awards, MOBO Awards, Royal Variety Show, Top of The Pops & CD:UK.
Ambitious to cover all areas she then furthered her career from this in various fashion & trade shows, modelling & photographic work including the Virgin Mobile Campaign. She was then fortunate to go on to work in TV & Film, featuring in the movie What A Girl Wants & TV shows French & Saunders & Parkinsons Christmas Special.
In advertising commercials she appeared for Mc Donalds, DFS, Ministry Of Sound & The Daily Mail.
Layla has enjoyed fulfilling her career and is as determined now as when she first started, Recently being hired as an assistant to various choreographers, Layla is looking forward to working with Pure Star Productions and sharing her experience through the classes she will be teaching.
